Merge branch 'jk/parseopt-string-list' into jk/string-list-static-init

* jk/parseopt-string-list:
  blame,shortlog: don't make local option variables static
  interpret-trailers: don't duplicate option strings
  parse_opt_string_list: stop allocating new strings
